Printable Slow Honeymoon Day Template

You want a blank page where rest and one anchor already have their places.

HoneymoonQuest Editorial · Updated 2026-10-20

Use the template below for each day of the trip: one anchor in the morning, two rest slots, and an evening left open. Copy it into your notes app or print it, then fill it in together. Blank spaces are part of the plan.

It belongs to our itinerary styles topic. If you are new to the idea, read what a slow honeymoon means.

What is the template?

Copy this block once per day:

DAY ___ DATE ___________ PLACE ___________

Wake-up (no alarm?): ______
Breakfast: ______

ANCHOR (one only): ______ start ___ back by ___
Transport / booking: ______

REST SLOT 1 (midday): ______
Meal near the room: ______

OPTIONAL (only if we both want it): ______

REST SLOT 2 (late afternoon): ______

EVENING (leave open): ______
Dinner idea: ______

Energy check (green / amber / red): you ___ me ___

How do we fill it in?

Start with the anchor, because it is the only thing that needs a fixed time. Write the start time and the latest return time. Then write the transport, so you know the real length of the day.

Next, mark the two rest slots as non-negotiable. They are not gaps, they are plans.

What does a filled-in day look like?

Here is an example for a second day on a beach trip:

SlotExample
Wake-upNatural, around breakfast time
AnchorSnorkel trip, leaving after breakfast, back by lunch
Rest slot 1Long lunch and nap
OptionalShort beach walk
Rest slot 2Pool and reading
EveningDinner by the water, early night

Notice there is one booking and everything else is relaxed.

How do we plan the whole trip on one page?

Lay the days side by side and mark each anchor. If two anchors in a row are heavy, move one. If every day has an optional item filled in, remove one.

For help counting, use the activities per day budget. For placing rest after hard days, read where to put rest days between tours.

What if a day does not fit the template?

Travel days, arrival days and last days are different. On those days, the anchor is the transfer itself. Fill in the times, leave the rest slots open and skip optional items.

You can also check how many days you really have with the usable holiday days calculator.

What should we do next?

  1. Copy the template for each day of your trip.
  2. Fill in the anchors first, then the rest slots.
  3. Cross out any optional item you do not both want.
  4. Send us your filled pages on WhatsApp, and we will check timing and the total for two.

Questions couples ask

How do we print it?

Copy the template block into a note or a document, then print or save as PDF. You can also write it out by hand on a page, one day per sheet, and keep it in your bag during the trip.

Do we fill in every slot?

No. The anchor and the two rest slots are the only ones that matter. Leave the others blank on purpose. A page with spaces left empty is a good sign that you are planning a slow trip.

Can we use the template for a city trip?

Yes. In a city, rest slots can be a café stop or a hotel break. Keep the same shape: one morning anchor, a long midday break and a free evening. Only the type of anchor changes.
