Send us the page link, what is wrong, and where you saw the correct information. A correction message with a source can be checked quickly. We then update the page and show when it was reviewed.
This guide belongs to our trust and enquiries topic. Travel information changes, and your report keeps it honest.
What kinds of errors should we tell you about?
Please tell us about any of these:
- A wrong or old fact, such as a rule, a route or an opening period.
- A link that leads nowhere.
- A policy that has changed on the resort’s or operator’s side.
- A sentence that could mislead a couple making a decision.
- A translation in Bahasa Melayu or Chinese that reads awkwardly.
Small things count. A tidy page is worth the effort.
What should the message include?
Use this four-line template:
- The page link.
- The sentence or table row you think is wrong.
- What you believe is correct.
- Where you saw it, such as an official site, a booking confirmation or a date.
Screenshots help, with personal details covered.
What happens after we receive it?
The path is simple. Here is what to expect.
| Step | What we do |
|---|---|
| Read | We read your message and the page together |
| Verify | We check against an official or reputable source, or ask the resort or operator |
| Decide | We correct, add a note, or explain why the page stands |
| Update | We change the page and show the review date |
| Reply | We tell you what we changed, if you wish to hear |
Some matters need a supplier’s reply first, so a check can take longer than a typo fix.
What if we disagree?
If our check supports the page, we explain what we found and why. You are welcome to send more evidence.
If the page was unclear rather than wrong, we may rewrite it so the next couple does not stumble. A good question can improve the page.
How do corrections relate to trust?
A guide that never changes is a guide that has stopped being checked. We would rather be corrected than stay wrong.
Read how we label what is researched or supplied, and how we earn and stay independent. Both explain why your corrections matter.
What if the error cost us money?
Tell us what you booked and when. If the booking was through another agent or platform, contact them too. Our guide on where to complain about a travel agent lists official routes.
What should we do next?
- Copy the page link.
- Write the four lines of the template.
- Add a source or screenshot.
- Send it to us on WhatsApp, and keep a copy for yourself.
