Copy the email below, fill in the blanks and send it before you pay. It asks the resort to confirm the perks, the room and the conditions in one reply. That reply is what you rely on later, not a conversation at the desk.
This guide belongs to our package evaluation topic. It is written for couples who already have a favourite and want it locked in.

Subject: Honeymoon booking [your names], [check-in] to [check-out], please confirm perks in writing
Dear Reservations Team,
We are booking [room category] for [number] nights from [date] to [date] for two adults. We were married on [date] and would like to receive the honeymoon perks.
Could you please confirm in writing:
- The full list of perks included for our dates and room category.
- Whether any perk depends on availability, and what happens if it is unavailable.
- The proof of marriage you need and the form you accept.
- Any blackout dates, surcharges or minimum-night rules that apply.
- Transfer, meal and halal or dietary arrangements, if relevant: [details].
- The total price for two, including taxes and service charges.
Please include your reservation or reference number in your reply.
Thank you, [Names, phone]
Why does each line matter?
Each numbered line closes a gap that couples find out about too late.
| Line | What it prevents |
|---|---|
| 1. Full perk list | Surprise about what was never included |
| 2. Availability | A perk promised “subject to availability” with no fallback |
| 3. Proof | A front-desk refusal on arrival |
| 4. Blackout and surcharge | A price that changes after you agree |
| 5. Transfer and meals | Unclear halal, dietary or pickup arrangements |
| 6. Total for two | Taxes and service charge added later |
How do we know a reply really confirms?
Check the reply against five signs.
- It names each perk instead of saying “as per package”.
- It names your room category, not “a room”.
- It states the proof needed.
- It gives the total for two.
- It includes a reservation number or reference.
If three or more are missing, send a short follow-up. Read how to check extras are truly confirmed for the next step.
What is the difference between a request and a confirmation?
A request says what you hope for. A confirmation says what the resort agrees to deliver. Our guide on honeymoon request versus confirmed arrangement explains how to tell the two apart in the wording.
A hotel confirmation number is also not a promise of every perk. See what a hotel confirmation number proves.
What about a villa or a special room?
If you are booking a pool villa or a specific layout, add one more line: the exact villa type, size and any privacy features you were told about. Our pool villa size and layout checklist lists what to ask.
Can a tool help us build the message?
Yes. The quote brief builder turns your dates, budget and preferences into a short brief you can paste into this email.
What should we do next?
- Copy the template and fill in names, dates and room category.
- Send it to the party that holds your reservation.
- Save the reply and check it against the five signs.
- Send one follow-up for anything missing.
- Pay only when the reply says what you were promised.
